Ignoring or giving priority for specific CAIDs or providers

Post by wikjan2 » Wed Sep 12, 2018 10:32 am

I'd like to know if there is in Ibravebox a possibility to force using or disabling specific CAID or provider.
If yes, how to do that.
As I know in theory there are some methods to do that (I don't know if it is aplicable for receivers or servers).
example 1:
additional parameters for CCcam line like this one: C: server.noip.com 12000 username password no { 0:0:2, 0500:32A00 }
This line disables CAID 0500 Provider 32A00
example 2:
using CCcam.prio file
This file contains lines like these below:
P: 1803:000000 # Polsat
I: 1861:000000 # Polsat
I: 0500:032A00 # Polsat
These lines do priority for CAID 1803 and do ignoring for CAIDS 1861 and 0500

Hi, I use cccam with three servers (3 lines) and I can activate or deactivate any of them by pressing the OK button on the remote.

I do not know if it will help you.

Hi foro4g,

My post is not about giving priority or ignoring CCcam lines. I knew how to do that right I started to use CCcam.
The problem is with some channels which use multienctryption.
Lets suppose that channel called "CINEMA" uses Conax, Nagra, Viaccess, Seca tunnelled to Nagra. And this channel works good with open DVBS receivers like Ibravebox only when Conax or Nagra is used for encryption. With Viaccess or Seca tunnelled to Nagra there are a lot of longer than 1s freezes.
So there is the need to force a group of multiencrypted channels to use only specific CAIDs / providers ( in my example CAIDs for Conax and Nagra).
We can not do that during channel scanning as all channels receive all needed CAIDs.
And there is no possibility to edit a channel to disable for example Viaccess.
So probably the methods that I described in my first post are suitable to do what I want.
But I'm not sure if they work at all with Ibravebox

Hello wikjan2!
Thank you very much, I am relatively new with this box and I also did not know this cccam system, but with its explanation and what I have already read, it was something else.

Surely some administrator can help you.
